We’re trying a bit of a different format with the Pile of Shame posts starting today. We’re going to rotate through all the reviewers here on the blog, so we can all share our shame. I volunteered to go first, as I started this, and…well, I need to incur some public shame in the hopes that it will spur me on to read more and faster.

Because, seriously, it’s getting a little ridonkulous.

My To Read pile, before I made it pretty.

Yeah….my bedside table…not the most uncluttered space in the house. Also, the television remote you see on the floor? I knocked that off the table randomly once in the middle of the night. Scared the beejeezus out of me.

It doesn’t look like quite as many books this way.

I love the library. Sometimes I love the library a little too much. Also, Darkness Becomes Her by Kelly Keaton, The Emerald Atlas by John Stephens, The Clockwork Three by Matther J. Kirby, and The Eternal Sea by Angie Frazer were all purchased after I implemented my book buying ban. I can’t imagine what this would look like if I wasn’t trying to save money for Comic Con.

I also have about ten egalleys in my Adobe Digital Editions folder which includes Frost by Wendy Delsol, Wildefire by Karsten Knight, Ashfall by Mike Mullin, and Misfit by Jon Skovron.

So, yeah, I have some intense reading to get done.

And possibly I should tidy up the cluttered tables in my room….heh.

What? What do you mean? I’m not hiding anything…these books aren’t “To Reads” they’re just…waiting…until such time as I am…ready for their…awesome. Yep. I don’t keep them tucked away in a corner so I can’t see their spines mocking me.

Nope.

Sometimes I can hear them at night…whispering at me. Making me feel ashamed for not having read them yet.
