Upside-Down Magic (2015)
Nory Horace is a young girl with magical abilities, but her magic doesn’t work quite right. Instead of turning into a single animal, she becomes a mix, like a kitten-dragon (a “dritten”). When she fails her entrance exam for a prestigious magic school, she’s sent to the Upside-Down Magic class at Dunwiddle Magic School. There, she meets other kids with wonky magic, like Elliott, who freezes things instead of setting them on fire, and Andres, who can’t stop floating.
