It’s been a while since we’ve done one of these and I figured it was my turn, since my to-be-read pile borders on the obscene. Plus I just bought a new camera, having been so long without one, and I needed to try it out.
(BTW, the picture to the left is actually a shot of my TBR bookcase.)
There it is. A small amount of my POS. I’ve been meaning to read Steel since it came out last month, as I love everything Carrie Vaughn has written. Red-Headed Stepchild by Jaye Wells and Corralled by Lorelai James are not young adult, but I’ve still been wanting to read them for a while. Plus, I’m going to see Jaye Wells next month for a signing and I’m three books behind on the series.
The other books are: The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan, Generation Dead by Daniel Waters, Tattoo by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, The Ghost and the Goth by Stacey Kade, Crave by Melinda Metz (she wrote the Roswell series!) and Laura J Burns, and Heist Society by Ally Carter.
In order to help dwindle that pile down, Caitlin and I are having a Read-a-thon tonight. We’re going to try to stay up reading until sunrise. Who knows if we’ll actually do it, but the point is that we’re going to try. If you want to join in, let me or Caitlin know either by email ([email protected]) or on Twitter (@whatchyareading). In other news, I’m going to see Meg Cabot tonight! Soon I’ll be adding Abandon to my POS. And keep your eyes on the site because you know I love to give away pretty signed books whenever I meet an author!
